Yellow Lentil / Harbara Dal
Chana dal is made with split and polished baby chickpeas. It resembles and tastes like little kernels of sweet corn and is a common component in Indian cuisine. Chana dal is tasty, healthy, and easy to digest. Apart from being used in soups, salads, curries, dal preparations, savouries, desserts, and rice meals, the beans are also roasted and powdered into chickpea flour (besan), which is a popular component in practically every Indian province.
